While the bulk of the work we do at New Lines deals with practical policy matters, from time to time we do delve into the deeper philosophical issues related to geopolitics, foreign policy and the international system. Through the production of normative content, we aim to facilitate the much needed healthy and vigorous debate among specialists of different intellectual traditions. In an age marred by political partisanship and ideological polarization, we feel this is all the more crucial. These anthologies are collections of essays from some of the best minds on the topics that we feel are not discussed enough.
