Daniel Kinderman

Daniel Kinderman holds a PhD (Cornell University, 2011) and joined the Department of Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware in 2011.

He is an Associate Professor and Director of European Studies at the University of Delaware.

He specializes in comparative and international political economy and corporate social responsibility (CSR), with a geographical focus on Europe.

He teaches courses on European politics, the European Union (EU), corporate social responsibility, comparative political economy and international political economy.

His current research focuses on business responses to right-wing populism, the impact of responsible business associations on the CSR performance of their member companies and the relationship between CSR and political-economic institutions.

Professor Kinderman has been a visiting scholar at the Social Science Research Center (WZB) in Berlin and at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne, Germany.
