Dr. Farooque Ahmed Leghari is an assistant professor in the Department of International Relations, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He holds a doctorate in strategic and security studies from the School of History, Politics and Strategy, University Kebangsaan Malaysia (2019). He has MSc in International Relations from Quaid I Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. Before academia, he served as a journalist in Sindh TV, Dawn News and SAMAA TV from 2007 to 2010. He worked as a research fellow at Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2019. His research is focused on nuclear deterrence in South Asia.
